Chlorpyrifos is an organophosphorus insecticide with the chemical name Dimethyl Dimethyl Phosphate (DDVP). Its appearance is a colourless liquid with a peculiar irritating odour.Non-invasive, broad-spectrum insecticide with contact, stomach poison and fumigation effects. Used on corn, cotton, soybeans, peanuts, sugar beets, fruit trees, vegetables and other crops. Controls flies, cockroaches, termites and other household pests, grain bin pests and livestock ectoparasites. Generally processed into emulsifiable concentrate or granules. Can be mixed with non-alkaline pesticides.
