Glyphosate is an organophosphorus herbicide. Systemic conductive broad-spectrum herbicide. It mainly resists the enolacetone-based shikikin phosphate synthetase in plants, thereby inhibiting the conversion of shikikin to phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan, which interferes with protein synthesis and leads to plant death. It has a control effect on plants of more than 40 families, including monocots and dicots, annual and perennial, herbaceous and shrubs. It is very destructive to the underground tissues of perennial deep-rooted weeds.
