Germ Destroyer---Composite Bactericide for CocoaCacao black pod rot is a devastating disease that plagues cacao trees, caused by various species of Phytophthora. This disease can result in pod rot, branch death, and stem ulcers. Effective control involves the application of chemical agents. For orchards where the disease is in its early stages, a mixture of 60% cuprous oxide and 12% metalaxyl at a 300-fold dilution is highly recommended. Spraying should be done weekly during humid conditions and every 3-4 weeks during dry conditions, continuing until the fruits reach maturity.

2.Black Pod Disease : Caused by the fungus Phytophthora palmivora, this disease infects the pods of cocoa beans, leading to rot and hardening of the pods.
