Germ DestroyerComposite Bactericide for CocoaCacao black pod rot is a devastating disease affecting cacao trees, caused by various species of Phytophthora. This ailment can lead to pod rot, branch death, and stem ulcers. Effective control can be achieved by spraying chemical agents. In newly afflicted orchards, an immediate application of a mixture containing 60% cuprous oxide and 12% metalaxyl diluted 300 times is recommended. Apply this spray weekly in humid conditions and every 3-4 weeks during dry weather, continuing until the fruits reach maturity.

1.Cocoa Swollen Shoot Virus (CSSV): This viral disease causes abnormal swelling of the buds and shoots of cacao trees, deforms leaves, and can ultimately result in the tree's death.
2.Black Pod Disease : Caused by the fungus Phytophthora palmivora, this disease infects cocoa pods, making them rot and harden.
3. Frosty Pod Rot: This disease is caused by fungi such as Moniliophthora roreri, which infect the buds and pods of cocoa beans.
